I recognize how challenging it can be to know how to identify and best support your own needs. School, work, relationships, and other life stressors can be overwhelming, sometimes to the point of feeling lost or stuck in our tracks. At times, even our physical, bodily experiences of sadness, anxiety, etc., may feel disconnected from our logical, rational thoughts. During these times, it is helpful to have someone who will work collaboratively and therapeutically with you to help you address your concerns, gain insight into your thoughts and feelings, and restore your sense of balance and "wholeness" back into your life. I believe that it is never too late to be the best versions of ourselves, and we all have the right to live authentically!
By providing individual therapy, I am able to help my clients become more mindful and in control of their own internal experiences and symptoms. Through the therapeutic relationship, I empower my clients to help re-instate their sense of confidence and self-esteem, while also utilizing various therapeutic techniques to help encourage change and growth. I also truly value working with clients of varying, diverse races, cultures, and backgrounds (i.e., LGBTQI community).
